Sanders voters are not going to vote for Johnson. They will vote for Stein or Clinton.

Sanders supporters have been tweeting that the DNC is ripping their Bernie signs out of their hands and threatening to yank their credentials for tomorrow.

Stein's not on the ballot in every state, so folks may pull the lever for Johnson as a protest vote in the states where she's not on the ballot.

I wonder if the DNC will let any legal American citizens speak? Do all their speakers have a story about sneaking across the border?

I have a friend who’s whiter than you are. Her great-grandfather came from Newfoundland. As a teenager, he was kidnapped and put to work on a British fishing boat, where he was starved and raped and beaten until the early morning two years later when he saw a shoreline to the west and jumped ship. Swam over a mile until he made shore – he didn’t care where; anything had to be better than the life he had – along the coast of Maryland. Claimed he’d been washed overboard but couldn’t remember the name of the vessel, somehow finagled his way into seeking asylum (he was Irish, after all) under an assumed name, and was allowed to stay.

Found work, found a wife, raised a slew of kids, paid his taxes, never got so much as a parking ticket. Back in the day, there was no way to check his alias or his point of origin. He died in his bed at the age of 87. The only tragedy is that he could never go back to Newfoundland to visit his relatives, his mother probably mourned him until the day she died, and his descendants will never know who their ancestors are.

When you’ve lived a life like that, you can talk about “illegals.” Until then, as about so much else, you can STFU.
