When did you edit it? This has potential to be a career ending scandal.

I don't have a problem with editing. I do it myself. But everyone can tell when I did it. And Amaris tends to post something nasty and then go back and flower it up.

I've often felt like Amaris was gaslighting about something I definitely saw. Now I know that if she did I'd have to take her word for it that it didn't happen.

Usually a minute or so as something else comes to me and I want to add. It's the ADHD. I will post, and then my brain "and also this!" and I have to quickly add it, which usually results in "and this too!" which I have to go and add also, even if I think I'm done.

As for my career, I can weather the storm with the millions I've made from admining Wordforge. I was going to celebrate my wealthy by taking a trip down to the Titanic.

Always. I never change it after people respond. If they do, and I catch it, I will put "EDITED TO ADD:" or something like that. I don't go back and secretly change what I said. Plus, if you quote tweet me, then no matter what I edit in my post, you have what I actually said before the edit, so... really there's nothing here.

If someone posts after you then it will show edited regardless of how quickly you make your change.

How long ago did you make the post before you tried to edit it? The window is very small.

Maybe five minutes.

Generally yes, that's how the software is supposed to work. The idea is pretty much for how I use it: to add something quickly, to fix a spelling or grammatical mistake, to fix formatting issues, things like that. More to the point, any other Mod or Admin can see the edit history, so if an Admin claimed they didn't edit a post, another Mod or Admin can actually go check and see if it's true.

Which brings me back to demi.

She made it seem like there was an editing tool that you can use to not show that your post was edited. Now sh'es trying to say there's a window of time to edit your post without anyone knowing.

Like "trans" isn't a slur unless it's modifying something specifically derogatory, like "freak". OTOH, "Tranny" is kind of in "their word" territory because it has been a slur-or at least a term of ridicule.
