I dreamed about this thread last night. It seems peculiar since I had never watched any of these and I don't know you people.
You don't remember watching any of these, but you did see them before. Here on WordForge we recycle our threads and posts constantly.
The singers hair - he looks like Gilligan and The Skipper just gave him a "bowl cut". BTW this song somewhat resembles the Gin Blossoms "Found out about you."
Muskogee Chamber of Commerce Okie from Muskogee Made in 2010, for the 40th anniversary, of the song, not the city.
opening night of the Aerosmith tour. Too bad I missed this show, but I've seen Aerosmith four times so I guess it's ok.
Goodnight Ronnie Gilbert! The Weavers; Pete Seeger, Fred Hellerman, Lee Hayes and Ronnie Gilbert, started in 1948. They turned folk music into popular music, opening the way for groups like The Kingston Trio, and Peter, Paul and Mary. In 1951 they had a #1 hit with "Irene Goodnight". In 1952 they were blacklisted by the House Un-American Activities Committee. They lost their recording contract, and were banned from the radio. They continued to tour until 1964, and made a triumphant return to Carnegie Hall in 1980. Ronnie Gilbert died this week, leaving Fred Hellerman as the only surviving member of this American Institution.
Macklemore is the shit, this song/video is fucking awesome. Even makes @Dr. Krieg's Yakima look good. I need that chariot.
Bass clarinet quartet. That's right, a motherfucking bass clarinet quartet. Camille Saint-Saƫns - Op 40 Danse Macabre - Edmund Welles Bass Clarinet Quartet
In a fit of nostalgia, I bought this album this week. Reminds me of a very good period in my life. Through a mutual acquaintance, I'm friends with the guitar player in the band.
