"Bridge Project," by Chronic Logic. Essentially, you're given a limited amount of materials, and a location, and you have to build a bridge that will withstand major punishment. It's a lot of fun.
You can see more about it here: http://www.chroniclogic.com/bridgeproject.htm

I was playing SimCity, the previous version. But now that I can build up a city on a small plot to a population of 15,000 in about 10-12 years and on a medium to 60-70,000 and large to 250k it's gotten boring.

I've been playing a ton of the Binding of Isaac lately. That game is about 6 or 7 dollars after the DLC, regularly goes on sale, and has so much content built into it. I can't wait for Rebirth to come out (though that sounds like it's probably not until way later this year)

Damn you, Anc. I've been hoping there's a game like this. Closest I've found is Traffic Giant that doesn't play well with Vista/7 and the Network Addon Mod for SimCity 4.

Well, I've picked up an Xbox One and made the plunge into Titanfall. It's a very fun game that I find myself playing everyday, but to be honest, It's Call of Duty with a gimmick. Definitely worthwhile, but don't let anyone tell you that it's a true "next gen" shooter.

I downloaded InFAMOUS: Second Son last night and I'll be giving it a whirl this weekend.

I've been playing a lot of Luftrausers since it came out on Tuesday, and that game is great. It controls well, is quick to jump into, and the goals/customization stuff keeps me coming back. It sounds like I'm not even that deep into it yet.

FTL just added a large, free update so I've been playing that. I can get to the final sector on easy, but I have no idea how to beat the final boss. The game still plays really well. Maybe someday I'll learn.

The Elder Scrolls Online. I've never played MMORPGs longer than a few hours, except for STO. But I intend to stay in Tamriel for a while and give this one a shot. I play as a Kajiit Nightblade. I've reached level 8 by finishing quests and killing stuff, but so far, I'm playing this game as if it was "Skyrim" or "Oblivion".... I have no idea how to enter the MMO part of the game, and the cryptic talk in the chat is a mystery to me. Total noob alert!

The Assassins' Creed 4 Steam edition went on sale on Amazon yesterday for 20 bucks so I'll be playing that in the near future.

A little over a week to go in the Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup tournament, and I appear to have netted . . . five points. :garamet: Apparently my first run didn't count somehow.

Yep, Assassins Creed 4 was pretty good. Still enough like an Assassins Creed game, but they made it feel very different and new with all the boating stuff. Also, it was very reminiscent of Sid Meier's Pirates.

Still Postal 2. Running With Scissors is set to release their Workshop for the game to Steam by the end of the month, so the updated content post-Build-1409 should be making its way to their Mac port coder then, and that means we OSX Dudes will be getting updated content finally, likely by the end of May.

I got bit by the Hearthstone bug, but that's not a huge surprise since I'm already way into TCGs and CCGs.

Escape Velocity Nova. I don't play games, normally, but this one is interesting for some reason!

Did anyone pick up Transistor, the new game from the makers of Bastion? It's been pretty good so far. The aesthetics and style are the same, but the combat and story are very different. It didn't grab me as quickly as Bastion did, but it's pretty good.

    I've never heard of it.
I just recently tried the 14 day trial of EVE online, and while everything looks pretty, I just couldn't get into it. Plus, the idea that anything goes, including people up top (developers) fucking around with the universe for their own ends, just completely turns me off. I'm not paying real money to get ripped off by assholes in a game universe. That happens enough in the real universe.

Yeah. Unless you know someone in a Corporation, you're wasting your time trying to go it alone in Spreadsheet Online (aka EVE). I have no desire to lose what little I've worked for the moment I set foot in unprotected space.

I've recently started playing DCUO with some friends and it's promising. I'm doing the F2P model until level cap and then we'll see where it goes.

Let's see... I've finished WATCH_DOGS last week. It's Ok. Ubisoft's strength is that when they get a good IP, they iterate and refine it rather quickly, so I look forward to more of these soon.

I've also been dabbling in the Playstation Now beta on my PS4 and PS3. I'm not sure how much I can say about it, but it is very responsive and I rarely detect any lag. From what I understand, they're going to open the beta at the end of July. Whether this is a success or not is going to depend on the pricing model.

Creeper World 3: Abraxis - This installment uses the Unity 3D plugin to add quite a bit of stuff to the standard Creeper World model. The graphics are more sophisticated, there's a new kind of enemy, there are several new weapons and buildings, and now you get to wipe out the creeping menace instead of merely holding it off until you can escape. Pan and zoom are also featured. I'd say it's at least as fun as the previous CWs, and probably more replayable for many. This looks to be a prequel/demo for a Steam version.
