A poster from another forum (The San Diego Union Tribune's forum) I post at has registered to become a member here and she said it told her that her registration was awaiting confirmation. It has been a day or two and the confirmation hasn't happened yet.

I also put links here in the signature of accounts I have in other forums. I doubt that will bring in a lot of new people but it might bring in a few. Hopefully, the links back here will also raise our search engine results a bit and result in more drop in registrations. It would be nice if some of the rest of you did the same.
