But she tells the truth to Podesta. Lifezette story WikiLeaks: Donna Brazile Shreds Obama Economy Acting DNC chair says 'people are more in despair about how things are' In an email to Hillary Clinton campaign Chair John Podesta from February 2016, released Friday by WikiLeaks, now-acting chair of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile gave a frank and honest assessment of the Obama economy — and it wasn’t good. “I think people are more in despair about how things are — yes new jobs but they are low wage jobs,” she admits. “HOUSING is a huge issue. Most people pay half of what they make to rent,” she continued. Such honesty from such a vocal and public cheerleader for the Obama administration is sure to embarrass the White House, and contradicts the official Democratic Party line that Obama is some sort of economy-saving superhero. Brazile's comments also underscore the extent to which Democrats are perfectly happy to lie to the public in furtherance of their toxic, divisive agenda. "Under President Obama, the economy has experienced a record 70 straight months of private-sector job growth. Over 14 million jobs!" Brazile tweeted almost exactly one month before she sent her email to Podesta. There might be similar e-mail exchanges between North Korean leaders where they suggest that maybe North Koreans aren't the best fed and most prosperous people on Earth.
Not sure why we needed another thread about cheese, but has anybody else tried Rogue River Blue? Quite expensive, but If you are a fan of the style, it's among the very best I've had. My local cheese shop stocks it, and I have a hard time not buying a wedge every time I stop by.
And that's how liberals react to the uncomfortable reality that their leaders do nothing but lie to them. They are willing dupes.
Clinton Foundation pays women less than men All that bullshit Hillary says about closing the pay gap? It's just more bullshit for the rubes that believe her.
A quiche is kind of like a pie with cheese in it. My wife and youngest boy like to make quiche but when it comes to cheese pies, my specialty is pizza!
Technically it's the custard that makes it a quiche, not the cheese, but realistically speaking there's not much point to a quiche that doesn't blow you away with the cheese. Mmm . . . cheese . . .
Gary Johnson slams Hillary for not knowing where Mosul is. During the debate she said it was on the Syrian border. "What's really important here is to understand all the interplay. Mosul is a Sunni city. Mosul is on the border of Syria." - Hillary Clinton, geographically challenged Presidential candidate. Mosul is the about the same distance from Syria that Baghdad is from Iran, and Mosul is just as close to Turkey as to Syria.
Here are some recent pizzas I made: Ironically, though an example of cheese pies, I find it's best to go a bit lighter on the cheese. When I first started working to perfect home Pizza, I tended to go too heavy on the mozzarella.
Do we count cheesecake as pie, kinda sorta? http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/cranberry-cinnamon-cheesecake-120843.aspx
Everybody was about to sit down. I made five pies because I wanted to be sure there would be enough. We have five people in my family, have you ever had pizza so good that a 1:1 ratio is required? Thought not.
My milkman (fresh milk delivered weekly from a farm 16m away [via roads, closer as a crow flies]) delivers other products if you put them in 12h in advance. One of which is Tillamook cheese. Not quite local, but it's just across border in Oregon. good cheese. For cost/convenience sake we've been just getting the giant blocks of Extra Sharp Cheddar. Goes with/on most everything.
That is a controversial subject. My work had a baking contest, and I entered my white chocolate-cheesecake (example below alongside chocolate-kahlua cheesecake...that one's still a work in progress). I didn't know at the time that they had two categories...cake and pie. I just handed it over, and they entered it into the cake category. It won, and there was a lot of lamentations and hard feelings and there hasn't been a baking contest since. I won a $25 gift certificate to Zaxby's.
Hah hah, that's a cat sleeping bag on the radiator. But it does indeed look like a Pizza cozy! My cats might not appreciate such usage, though.
DUDE! Yes he nailed that shit - rock it Bob! Anyway of course Brazile is lying to the public! She's the DNC leader so that's her job! The only people not upset about that would be other Democrats because they have by default a disconnect - that makes it easier for their means to justify the ends.
Tge main problem with hpusing is thw restrictions which prevent new housing from being built. Even when it is infill development the NIMBYs always attack it for being too dense or for causing increased traffic. Block the NIMBYism and loosen the zoning laws and hpusing will get more affordable as new construction starts to exceed demand. Many of the new jobs are lower paying but that has been going on since about the year 2000.
It's a little known fact that Bob Hope was turned into pies for the VA upon his death, continuing his tradition of serving the troops. They tasted a bit funny.
Funny Bob Hope story - he walked into a room full of soldiers with serious injuries in a hospital and of course they all recognized him and he said "please! Don't get up." Frame of reference for the younger/non military crowd - back in the day when an important person came into your area you stood up. Kind of like tipping your hat to a lady.
You'd be surprised, but we still do that, and that includes emphatically non-military types like myself.
So. What Brazile says in that email is pretty much the same view Obama has taken publicly. I confess that I haven't been following Brazile's public statements at all. Since @gturner is a fountain of truth, I suppose this can only mean that Brazile has disagreed vehemently with the President in the past in all public statements on the economy, allowing her secret agreement with his view to shine through only in private email.
