Making want to at least check out both mini-series again.
He was in a favorite episode of Fantasy Island, played a guy who always read about adventures, and finally got to have one. "I've never actually...
I have no doubt that Tony & Nebula will rescue themselves when the time comes. Love the looks on Cap & Nat's faces as they look at Scot on the gate...
I've been buying some old Marvel stuff lately, even as a fan, the amount that Stan contributed to the hobby is staggering when you really start to...
Watched this with some friends Tuesday evening, something is wrong with the 5.0 soundtrack, but the vintage track sounds fine. The movie holds up...
Pretty cool looking, but I would go for a more Fantastic Voyage esque look on the front of the hull.
Myself, I really like the Director's cut of TMP. The extras are good, and the cuts are as well.
Well, fans of his writing, probably won't care, but for fans of '80s horror flicks like me, the great news is that this greatly under-rated slice of...
Dunno, I don't remember seeing it listed on DVD Empire's list of releases for this week.
The Stand by Stephen King IFC has been running the mini-series a lot lately, so I bought a paperback copy of the expanded edition, with what, 500...
I can't stand any of Kubrick's movies. Never cared for 2001, Clockwork Orange, none of 'em. I especially don't care for The Shining, since it's...
I've been watching some episodes lately since BBC America started running them, and while as a whole, I still don't really like the show, some...
Enjoyed the first story of Justice League Action, but it may take a bit for the show's designs to work for me. Return of the Caped Crusaders, I'm...
I liked it quite a bit. Good nuts & bolts sci-fi story, and a good interpersonal story too. I found it to be a real win-win.
Lloyd Henreid in The Stand, the main character/reporter in The Night Flier & Dick Jones' unfortunate underling in Robocop too.
Two weeks behind right now, work's been too much like work lately. :(
'30s and '40s, with the crossovers starting in the '40s with Frankenstein meets the Wolf Man. But including the Mummy into that overall universe is...
I remember reading somewhere once that Linda Hamilton was all but signed as Janeway but she passed due to her reluctance to commit to a TV schedule...
Yeah, I'm not really feeling "the American" either. Apart from that one nit-picky bit, two thumbs way up for The Grand Tour, the boys still have it,...
Getting a Prime account this week just for this show. Really looking forward to it.
Just watched to last two episodes today, & the show is really growing on me. They're taking their time with Martin & Roger's partnership/friendship,...
Anyone know when Justice League Action is showing up, and where? Hopefully it won't be buried on Boomerang like the Super-Hero Girls.
So, this Superman is more like it! I hope the movie boys at Warner's are taking notes. ;)
Between Superman appearing on Supergirl, and the JSA on Legends of Tomorrow, let alone coolness on The Flash, I'm pretty locked in to the DCW this...
Mostly the usual suspects, but I'm especially looking fowward to the JSA story in DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
I've only seen the first two episodes so far. I kind of like them when I'm watching, but they aren't sticking with me yet, and since Arrow has...
Unable to respond to or start threads....
:clyde: Not so interested in this idea. A series based on the movie, and using the same computer effects (which should be dirt cheap even by TV...
Caught the Friday 10:00 AM matinee, easily the best time I've had at the movies this year, hell, since Guardians of the Galaxy! I totally didn't...
 No, it's not just you. I'm taking a pass on this one unless I see/hear something cool to change my mind.
So far I've only watched Pilgrim of Eternity and A Piece of the Action- inspired "Kirk"-starter ad. Liked it well enough, nice to see Jimmy Doohan's...
Jay Garrick confirmed for season two of The Flash! [media] :yes2: Edit: Preview/spoilerish stuff starts at 04:20 or so.
I (among many others, I might add) thought that Brandon's suit from Superman Returns was too dark. Henry's makes it look almost day-glo!
Just imagine the twists possible, Malcolm Merlyn (possessed by Boston 'natch) shows up in starling City to ask Oliver Queen to help solve his murder,...
I actually thought maybe Brian Cox had passed. (Seeing the re-tuned thread title and all)
I will admit though, it would either succeed or fail depending on the how they handle the Deadman look. Is Boston stuck in the afterlife with his...
Nah, you just use the same trick they did on Quantum Leap, you only see who he's inhabiting when he jumps into them or looks into a mirror.
One the things I always appreciated about Arnold was how much he enjoys being a movie star, he never whined about being famous or about his fans.
I still say that Deadman is a viable TV show, it's Quantum Leap sans the time-travel, get the casting right and you're good to go.
I didn't get the message "kill the rich" so much from that as "kill a bunch of police officers and other non-uniformed working class people"....
