The worst people in the city are having an absolute meltdown. https://bsky.app/profile/thebigcow.bsky.social/post/3m5fx2pnyqk2h I think this is my favorite so far:
Huh. That's unfortunate for him. I'm glad he's stable (is he?) But I'm not sorry if he can't finish his term.
One of last desperate attacks on Katie Wilson was that she had to get help from her parents to pay for childcare. Which is pretty much completely tone deaf when affordability is the biggest issue. Today it is mathematically certain that she will be the next mayor of Seattle.
Appeals Court throws out Texas Republicans gerrymandered map. I'm sure Trump will order his flunkies to appeal.
He can order it, but those fuckers ain't ever gonna be appealing. Except to Paladin. He'll suck anything the Right waves in his face.
i bet FF walks into alot of doors by mistake that could be an answer to his behavior boxers from punches FF from self infliction!!!
Did not have this on the political bingo card. WOW! Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, former Trump loyalist, says she is resigning from Congress If you play with snakes, don't be surprised if you get bitten.
Why anyone would ever think that Trump would show loyalty to anyone for any reason, just demonstrates how completely stupid they are.
Remember when being a perverted sex pest who preys on teenage girls was enough to make a Republican lose Alabama? Pretty sure that's not the case anymore.
The current TX-22 has a Cook PVA of R+9, but I have no idea what's going on with Texas' gerrymandering right now.
Pretty red I think. It contains the rural area southwest of Houston and then bends back toward the coast, so lots of rice farmers, cattle ranchers, and fishermen. Looking at the proposed 2025 map I don't think the 22nd would be affected.
cold water (based on logistics more than political mood) Are Democrats Going To Crush Republicans In 2026?
Oof. My thought before clicking was 100% I swear the truth: If it’s not Cook I don’t care. And of course it was Cook.
I will never understand the person that runs out and enthusiastically votes for Trump in 2024 and 12 months later says that guy sucks I’m voting for Mikie Sherrill. I get that those people think they are geniuses in their own mind, but by ping ponging back and forth between nutty candidate and reasonable candidate you give too much power to the nutty candidate and undermine our prosperity.
"Yay for me, I'm being bipartisan!" can have a powerful allure for people who don't want to have to think very hard.
