So I was bored the other day and watched a video about the rise and fall of Supertramp from whence I learned that Rodger Hogdson released a single that flopped after they split (which as you'll see maybe had a bit to do with the bizarre video) but... I like it. Bit of a banger and has a lyrical edge I can appreciate. (2) Roger Hodgson - Had a Dream (Sleeping With the Enemy)(1984) - YouTube "Had a dream, it was war, and they couldn't tell me what it was for. But it was something they could lie about, something we could die about, you know."
Saw a meme recently that said something to the effect "when my gen z grandchild says something about '6 7', I respond with 25 or 6 to 4. I love big bands.
As a rule I am loath to even tolerate most "popular" music of the 21st century. There MIGHT be as many as half a dozen acts that have more than one song I'm happy to find on the radio. But damnit, while I'm generally not attracted to his brand, this guy sometimes nails it. This is a fun song regardless Bruno Mars - I Just Might (Live at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards)
I can take or leave his music but that one is catchy. My wife got tickets for us to see him here in September. It's the same night as one of the Rush dates, so one of her girlfriends may go with her to see Bruno.
I'm glad I live in the 21st Century where I can stumble across videos that make me wonder what it would be like if lesbian Asian and Viking pirates met.
