Of course Rick sides with the looters. They're just living by his philosophy. What's yours is mine if I think I need it more.

No, we just don't side with your masturbatory murder fantasies.
Looters should be stopped, but you care less about that than the idea of getting to kill someone and get away with it.

Do I really need to remind you about your literal masturbating emoji response to the conceit of helping build a fleet of ED-209's?

In that context, the goal is badass robots lumbering around to alleviate my boredom.

Point of order: Idolizing the ED-209 as "badass" is a concerning sign.

If I'm going to criticise people in this scenario, top of the list are oil companies and insurance companies. Not fucking looters. Because I'm not a bootlicker.

Something like 10+ years ago, one of the big record labels caught a lot of flack because they stored the master recordings of folks like Frank Sinatra and others in a warehouse that didn't have a sprinkler system. The place caught fire and burned to the fucking ground, wiping out something like 70 years worth of tapes done by some of the biggest artists ever. One hopes that no matter what, folks have learned something from that, and at least had a sprinkler system installed, even if they didn't take every mitigation step possible.

That would have been the 2008 Universal Music Group fire. The loss of historic master recordings from some of the all-time great musical artists is mind blowing. We can certainly hope that better precautions are in place.
