Not at all! No doubt it is a self-esteem booster. If I have a sluggish workout I stop off at Walmart on the way home and compare myself to the other guys my age and count my blessings. Yeah, it's vain & petty but what the hell if it motivates me.

Yes it is. Having a self destructive goal seems counter-productive though, but it's a free country. I wouldn't feel good enabling someone to eat themselves into an early grave like that woman's boyfriend.

But yeah, beyond the physical comparisons to all the now flabby assholes I went to school with, I'm pretty content with the life. Sure, I'll be dead in the next 15 years, but I party like I'm in my 20s every weekend with good (and usually free) drugs and hot, young chicks.
