GOP primary debate #2 tonight

CNN's running the 2nd GOP debate tonight at 5 PDT.

I'm not planning to watch, though I may leave a tab in the background open to listen to it.

Predictions: most of the questions will be directed to Romney and Pawlenty, with a few for Gingrich and Cain. Questions to Paul will be crafted carefully to avoid giving him the opportunity to say "I told you so." I expect Bachmann to have plenty of "misstatements" she'll have to retract later (or pretend no one heard) and Santorum to generally be his internet namesake (go ahead, Google "Santorum" - but not at work). Pawlenty will also not be portrayed as a flip-flopper the way he was in the Fox debate.

Is it just my webstream or is John King doing this “alright, alright”, start/stop muttering, over the responses of pretty much any Republican candidate?

How are we even to hear what they are saying, when John King is jumping to interject and reprimand them all for “not answering the question.”

Gingrich nodding along with Paul on how to get manufacturing back... probably not a bad sign.

It's telling that pretty much any time Paul speaks, the yellow line on the stream (independents' approval) shoots to 90%.

I have to say, it is impressive, on a personal level, that Bachmann has fostered 23 children.
