You're under the impression I expect you to agree with me if you broaden your horizons. No. I just expect you to be more knowledgeable. What i expect you to gain from talking to LGBT people or visiting a mosque or something like that is perspective on life that doesn't match your own. Something you have almost none of. It's literally like trying to debate a child. You've already proven you don't actually read the articles you link to. And you are aggressively opposed to expanding your knowledge base. You wallow in your limited worldview like it's a asset. For instance, there are posters here i often disagree with, like @RickDeckard , @Ten Lubak , or @Order2Chaos . But I respect their opinions because they clearly take the time to inform themselves on what they say. You do not.
If by "intellectuals" you mean people who don't base their opinions on bumper sticker slogans and don't suffer from Trump Devotion Syndrome, you would be wrong.
Oh yeah, does this look like the type of healthy conversation you're describing? http://wordforge.net/index.php?posts/3597187/ http://wordforge.net/index.php?posts/3597210/
One thing you are fucking awesome at, is getting people to lower themselves to your level. Not me of course...
Those comments came after you dismissed @shootER 's vastly more experienced viewpoint on that issue. Basically, if it doesn't agree with you, it's a biased viewpoint worthy of mockery.
by your own posts: you post this and expect anybody to take you seriously? that isn't my arrogance, just your ignorance.
what? you mean where an expert in the field disagrees with you so you immediately switch the topic to someone who's no longer relevant. it's true, you do drag the class average down.
You're pretending as if this same expert doesn't negative memes about Trump in several different hate boner threads about Trump every day several times a day for the past decade. No bias detected from you I guess.
You talk about a hate-boner for Trump as if you don't have a hate-boner for Biden, Harris, Clinton, and in and on. It's a way to dismiss legitimate criticism of an objectively awful president. The difference is, you hated Biden, but nothing he did negatively affected you personally. In contrast, my life has absolutely been negatively affected by Trump, from the minute (My 1/6 scale figure hobby is essentially on hold until this tariff crap is cleared up) to the existential (fears about funding for my kids education, my parebts 401K being decimated, etc). So, yeah, I hate that motherfucker. But I have lots of reasons to that directly affect me. What have you got?
irrelevant. he's the closest thing we have to an authority on the subject and it's processes. given your own record and reputation for honest analysiyou probably shouldn't be trying to make a point of others' biases.
that's rich coming from a keyboard warrior like you who avoids questions until they're forgotten about, or at least so many pages behind that to address them would be irrelevant.
