in that case it is the intended purpose because the gun is considered a deadly weapon so pointing at someone in a robery is the exact thing you brought the gun along for. the firearm is designed to deliver a projectile at high velocity into what ever you are aiming at that is its only purpose. in fact if you use a gun in a crime it is so much more deadly that extra charges and more serious charges are brought against you. Murder and Armed are another way that your decision are comtrolled by other people

I think he was indeed referring to guns, but not "projecting personhood onto them". He was simply talking about being able to magically make guns disappear, without having to confront their owners in person. To me, that was the obvious sense of what he wrote.

Somehow, I work in Miami, and have worked in Miami in various positions for many years, and never had the slightest hint of danger associated with traveling to that pit of crime and debauchery.
I guess I'm just lucky. Never had any trouble in Miami, Indianaplis, Atlanta, NYC, Boston, LA, DC, Vegas, or even London. Somehow I got out of London multiple times without being stabbed by a brown person.
