Buried at the bottom of this article, is the statement by the cops that the most important thing the arrest accomplished was getting the guns and ammo off the street. Dude was discovered to have shrooms, weed, and 40K doses of DMT. None of that, in the words of the cops, was as dangerous as the guns. Which do not appear to have been illegal. It wasn't legal for this guy to have them, since he had a felony conviction, but it would be perfectly legal for any of us to go out and buy the same type of guns, as well as the 2K rounds of ammo that he had.
