For your MAGA Uncle: People aren't just protesting deportations - they're protesting the murders of American citizens and the especially inhumane and un-American way you're deporting people by using masked squads of unidentified state sponsored goons swarming the streets against the wishes of the local government which better reflect the local mood compared to the Trump administration. It's not about federal supremacy (which you all only invoke when a Republican is President) - but if you do something against the wishes of the locals, legal or not, you’re going to make said locals angry. People are protesting you violating their First Amendment rights (right to protest) by calling everyone a treasonous rioter and begging Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act... Amazingly...Second Amendment rights (right to bear arms) - by claiming guns don't belong at a protest whilst you take guns to McDonalds... Fourth Amendment rights (right against unreasonable search or seizure) by saying everyone must have proof of citizenship on them at all times when no such proof outside of a passport exists... Fifth Amendment rights (right to due process) as you sweep up who knows how many people without proper investigation... Sixth Amendment rights (right to legal counsel) buy not allowing people to have contact with attorneys... Eighth Amendment rights (prohibiting cruel and unusual punishment) by having improperly trained squads of government backed mercenaries executing people on the street... 10th Amendment rights (the whole state's rights stuff) by ignoring the wishes of state governors and targeting especially blue states and cities hundreds of miles from the southern border... And continued attacks on the 14th Amendment - because you don't like the concept of birthright citizenship... Not to mention your ongoing disregard for the 22nd Amendment (presidential term limits). So that's why we're pissed. And this is why you to fail to see the paradox in your argument: you say Trump is doing the same thing as previous Obama and all did while ALSO giving him credit for doing more than what previous presidents did. I didn't listen to the speech or whatever it was but I can get that he meant to say something like "We can't even have guns anymore" Like how people say, "We can't have nice things anymore" or "We can't give girls compliments anymore" or "We can't rape our secretaries anymore" Because him saying we can't actually have guns anymore is too too golden and too too perfect.

Of course this does not apply if you bring your firearms with you to storm the capital........
