I know bills of attainder are illegal, but how about *amendments* of attainder? I think a constitutional amendment to execute every member of ICE and everyone up the chain to Stephen Miller would probably be ratified in record time.
I could have sworn Paladin said he had grandkids at some point. He mentioned during a discussion on requiring foreign languages be taught in school, and bitching about his grandkids being forced to learn another language. I pointed out that languages such as Spanish and Chinese could give kids an edge in future employment, and he racistly disputed that by saying everyone should speak English in business settings.
It's troubling that you think this way. It would be much more troubling if such an idea were to be taken up, but, thankfully, it bears no connection to reality.
But if it was signed into law through democratic means you would just have to begrudgingly accept it right.
If a Constitutional amendment were ratified, my choices would either be accept it or revolt. If we got to the point that the state could simply have people killed over political disputes, it wouldn't be a difficult choice. A democratic process is no guarantee of goodness or wisdom. Tyranny by some majority can be very bit as ruthless as tyranny of a single man or political cabal.
Now that we know the ICE agents were Hispanic, maybe @Paladin will condemn them for killing a white man.
I don't think a person being killed in a misunderstanding during a law enforcement action is quite the same thing as rounding up political enemies and summarily executing them. Even if you find ICE's excesses inexcusable, your advocacy for a Reign of Terror and the state murder of everyone remotely associated with them is very disturbing and, frankly, something I would've thought beneath you.
Not that I want a Robespierre, but given that things have to get worse before they get better, your blasé attitude about what's happening increases the odds of a Robespierre.
Then discourage Reign of Terror thinking. I could as easily say that other's blase attitude towards unfettered immigration is what's driving me. So, you see, it's actually incumbent on others not to drive me to such measures. Is that how it works? Or is the chain of regressing responsibility broken once it reaches your preferred outcome?

There is a literal state conspiracy with secret memos ordering ICE to deprive us of our rights, and zero accountability or even investigation for those that use the color of law to deprive us of our lives. They send people to literal self-described torture prisons for civil infractions, shoot people with impunity, terrorize children, stalk protestors. Their new surveillance apparatus… they’ve basically become a combined Gestapo and Stasi. These aren’t “political differences” any more than war is “political differences.”
As a homeowner of course i want to get a max return on my home but i also want my kids to be able to afford homes when they enter the market. Also property ownership is an important tenet of western civilization and a big reason why we are at the successful point we are at today. I have 4 children. I assume they won't all live together. Beyond that, my parents still live in the home I grew up in. And my oldest daughter is 26, so they're probably not leaving anything for us to use before we need it either. What a shortsighted and ill-informed concept of home ownership. Are you sure you actually own a home and have kids?

Well, how you've planned things out is surely different. We won't need this home as we have another we can downsize to. Doesn't seem shortsighted to me at all, especially since it's worth twice what we paid for it.
