Reminder: this is how things always escalate in these sort of situations. This is how poorly trained paramilitary forces with little oversight behave towards civilian populations.

This is inevitable.

That being the case, this type of thing is exactly what @Paladin and @Steal Your Face voted for, and continue to rub themselves to.

Hopefully the next time it happens the collateral damage can be people like them, rather than those trying to stop it.

The Republican position now appears to be that you have a constitutional right to openly carry a gun in public, unless you do so while expressing a view that the government dislikes, in which case the secret police can shoot you to death on the spot.

The victim of today's ICE shooting in Minneapolis is the 5th person to be shot and killed by federal immigration agents since President Trump began his crackdown last year. This is the 19th time they've opened fire.

They still address him as if he's sane and rational. It's like asking a slave driver "How many more lashes?" There's no answer to that which anyone wants to hear because in his view it can only be "as many as it takes" their heartfelt answer will always be "as many as it takes"
