I am jack's complete sense of apathy. I tried with rick and morty. I even liked it a bit. It is just up on that shelf of things I might try and watch someday when I do not have better things to do like clean the house, pick my naval lint, hit refresh on Wf a billion times, go for a walk in the florida heat, pet a dog, go get some coffee, sweep the frog barf off the walk outside, clean my car, or even write this post. Well, have fun storming the castle, and hope you get some new memes. Oh, and stop acting like pissbabies at McDonalds over some dipping sauce. Those people do not need your infantile meltdowns over a cartoon.
Meh.... Didn't care too much for this one. The Morty stuff was great, but I don't like seeing Rick get his ass beat like that... and the Beth and Jerry stuff was a little uncomfortable. I have a feeling that we'll see Nimbus again later this season and Rick will get his revenge.
I thought it was good! Some pretty funny moments. Although the dog face people Morty storyline kind of reminded me of the snake planet episode from last season
This one reminded me more of the purge planet episode from season 2. So I guess it's official that both Rick and Jerry are pansexual? Or should I just say non-binary? Meh... I don't see a need to label it.
I think it's been established that Rick will screw just about anything - I seem to remember from that episode with Unity who had taken over the minds of the entire planet there were some pretty.....inclusive orgy scenes? Maybe I'm wrong, it's been a while Jerry doesn't even know what he wants, he's a mess
"I don't know where those coal miners were before they were assimilated. You might want to get checked." Unless coal mining is an exclusively female profession on the world Unity took over, I think we can safely say Rick is flexible on the sex front. I mean, he was prepared to take that guy's "insect dick" for a test drive so he's at least willing to fuck insectoid women. After that, I'm guessing humanoid males or sentient gas clouds are also just as much on the menu. And he and Morty fucked mermaids off-screen, despite the implied issue:
I don’t know … between this episode and the Total Rickall episode with Sleepy Gary, Jerry definitely swings both ways. He was even afraid he’d fall in love with Nimbus here.
How is everyone feeling about S5 so far? I won’t lie… I’m a little disappointed so far. With the Season finale set to air Sunday, this will probably end up my least favorite season. I expressed dissatisfaction with ep1 earlier and in hindsight, it’s one of the stronger ones this season. The writing/producing team has lost a lot of people after their success on Rick & Morty and it’s starting to show. Ones making Star Trek Lower Decks, another’s making Solar Opposites and 1 just finished Loki for Disney Plus and is currently working on a Star Wars. My least favorite so far has been either the Gotron Robots one or Mortyplicity.
Similar to what I said in the Lower Decks thread, I think we're all getting a little ennui because we're just so damn overloaded with some really good content. And staying home because of the pandemic and binge-watching stuff probably didn't help, either.

They need to do something to get better writers back on this.
