Yep. I converted all of my DVDs to video files so I can watch them on my computer any time without having to use the physical disc. I then stream the movies through my home Plex server I built. It will stream up to 3 TVs without any lag, and makes it so easy to watch without ads, without the internet going out (since it's on my internal network), and without fees.

The only streaming I don't mind anymore is Pluto TV. Yeah, there are commercials, but that's the way it is on regular TV, and I don't mind that so much. It's not the occasional advertisement that bothers me, it's the fact that streaming services now charge you to watch AND show ads. They double dip for their service. Triple dip if you count they also sell your viewing data to third parties.

I have a streaming service that costs €70 per year and which has just about everything.

Something I just realized: If Netflix gets WBD, that means James Gunn and Zack Snyder will be working for the same studio. Think if Zack asks to do more DC movies Gunn will let him?
