Here's the thing, Dicky doesn't know fuck all about me or those Youtubers, he just doesn't like their politics, therefore they're Nazis or CHUDS. He makes shit up all of the time, but I don't see you or anyone else but UA asking him to back up his claims. He gets a free pass all of them time.

There's obviously a subset of the fan base that calls people sexit or what not if they criticize Discovery because we have a third member here that has brought it up. Do you think I or UA have any influence over @Crosis36 ? It's obviously happening. Furthermore; the search function is pretty shitty and people often ask me to search for specific words or phrases in threads that have hundreds of posts, it often hard to find. Sometimes I do find them though. The only other way to find them is to manually scroll through the threads to find what you're looking for. Sorry, but that's not reasonable to ask someone to do. I'm not the only one who has complained about the search function, by the way.

Rest assured, the next time I encounter something like this I will gladly save the page and happily point it out to you.

I am once again asking TPTB to change the editing permissions to allow editing of a post for, say, 12 hours after it has been put up. That would allow people to deal with hiccups, typos and other problems within a reasonable timeframe.

Remember: the supposed rationale for the change, to satisfy the notion that people are not stealth editing posts, is a fool's errand.

Buffy was so much better when taken away from the manchild Whedon and made into the movie. I get why people were so into the whole thing, but it was pretty obvious whedon was a fucking problem. He was like those atheists who were really trying to get preachy and hateful just like the cult of christianity. Such claims are not backed up by evidence or reality. Ro was horrible and her actress was a fucking snob who was shit to fans at conventions. I have seen a number of actors and VAs at cons and Michelle forbes has been the worst ever. By a longshot too. Imagine Ro being more bitchy with a bigger stick up her ass and then you have Forbes talking to the crowd.

OTOH there was Spice williams, the klingon woman from the fifth movie. she had two or three lines total in the whole start trek universe, and she was cool as fuck. She also played the Guyver (in the suit). She hung out in the dealer room with the five of us who were there telling stories after her panel for hours. The only other person who I had met in such a small con with such an intimate setting was Andrew Lincoln during the prime of TWD. If you ever go to a convention he is at and it is small, he talks to people.

You see that there's a big difference between "Any criticism about Discovery will get you labeled as a hate criminal" vs "Criticizing a trans character for being bland, awful and creating to score PR points will get you labeled as transphobic," right?

Not saying that it is wrong or right to criticize someone as transphobic in the latter instance, btw. And I'll point out that I have recently stated and will state again for the record that Gray is a bland character who was underwritten IMO. Somehow, I have not been put in some sort of woke jail for expressing this opinion. (I don't particularly believe TPTB created Gray to score PR points or for some other reason, but if I thought so, I would have no problem asserting that opinion.)

Also, it should not take too much skill to search Discovery for any posts in which other posters formed a posse to get Crosis for daring to criticize Gray on these grounds.
