Still would be better if the West had given Ukraine enough support from the start to push Russia back to their pre-war borders, but that is years gone now.

EU membership would be great if it happened, but imagine that could take a decade+ if it can ever happen.

What I have read doesn’t include the Russians pulling out of their portions of Kherson or Zaphoriza, but just the around 40 sq km they hold in Sumy and Kharkiv in return of Ukraine giving up the around 6k sq km in the Donbas that Ukraine continues to hold.

That certainly sounds more like Putin, and a much shittier deal.
