As someone who has done questionable things with propane tanks, and has used some questionable things as jack stands: I think that is as stupid as the average person would think, but for probably very different reasons.

Hint: I'm not worried about it exploding. However, I am very worried about its shape and orientation.

Bowling alley? Urgent care.

Movie theater? Paved over.

Record store? Gone.
