Where is this attitude now? I'm fairly sure the uprising wasn't solely by the Christians and both Jews that lived there.

Full disclosure: it's good advice the Dems could use for the next election as well.

Anna seems thinks no one should ever change their views based upon new evidence or information where as I see that as a virtue.

Getting out of the liberal bubble has been good for me and it is the main reason I know vote third party instead of playing the old yay for my team, boo for their team game.

Who was he before Confederate Son? He was at TBBS under that same name, then shortly after coming here, he started trolling Muad Dib and changed his name to Confedearate Son. Then, he got bored of that schtick, changed his name to Dinner and started trolling Chup about Muslims.

But, I can remember his name before Confederate Son.

Why is Dinner (or anyone else) obligated to keep the same position they articulated YEARS ago?

That was before my time, but I do distinctly remember later times when he railed against the South.

obviously they aren't, but there should be some sort of logical progression or REASON for the shift.

This looks more like a Flashlight maneuver - just flip to a whole new set of views if they seem more conducive to trolling people and pissing them off.

For example and counter example - most of my views have changed a good bit since the first few years of this board, for a clear and obvious reason and according to a progression of thought I've openly explained.

Flashy, OTOH, just flipped everything over to the opposite position, ostensibly overnight. No religious conversion (that we know about) or life changing event, just apparently tactical trolling. The latter seems to apply here more than the former.

Chup ran himself off of this board, over childish drama because the admins weren't quite pro-censorship enough for him.

It was Oerdin. He uses that at Troll Kingdom too.

There is nothing wrong with peoples opinions evolving. Going from a liberal to a hate spewing islamophobe at the blink of a switch is a bit different tho.

Oerdin. ah, yes. I remember now. He complained because his posts were ignored. That's when he started trolling Muad Dib. Now, he trolls Chup and makes bigoted remarks about Muslims and gets lots of attention.

Word of advice - Don't feed the trolls.
