No it isn't. I saw her "just talking to a constituent" defense and it's incredibly lame. She is literally being coached by a convicted pedophile via text at a live hearing. There is no defending that.

I like the idea of just dumping all of it into the public and letting everyone look through it. Innocent people will show themselves to be innocent, while those who are involved in the actual Epstein sex trafficking will also show up for what they've done.

For example, one of my favorite Youtube commentators, Rebecca Watson (Skepchick), is in the Epstein files. Why? Because she emailed Lawrence Krauss years ago asking him to clarify a comment he made about Epstein. You know what Krauss did? He forwarded it to Epstein asking for advice on how to respond to her because she was onto something that made him uncomfortable (as in she was close to figuring out why he might defend Epstein) and he didn't know how to answer. So what does that prove? That Rebecca Watson was taking sex pests to task in private and in public. So she's innocent and is exonerated as someone doing the right thing.

What will we see with most of these politicians? Celebrities? Only one way to find out. Show all of it and let us all sort it out.

I think anyone who continued correspondence with Epstein after his "deeds" become public isn't fit for public office. Anyone who took money from him isn't fit for public office and anyone who took orders from him as a member of congress isn't fit for public office.

I don't belong to any "team" so by all means, show me Republicans or Democrats accepting money from Epstein, taking orders from Epstein, corresponding with Epstein or taking part in his sick, sexual escapades and I'll join you in condemning them. If they fit that last scenario, I want them put them in prison and the victims given baseball bats and be allowed to go full casino on them for as long as they want.

Folks in the Virgin Islands were saying that there was something fishy about Epstein well before 2019, and dude's first arrest for kid diddling was way back in '06. And he was a registered sex offender well before 2019. Now, let's give her the benefit of the doubt and say that she didn't know anything about Epstein before July 2019 (when I started this thread). Fine and dandy, but she absolutely should have people on her payroll who are paid to ensure that she doesn't get bit by a scandal like this, and that if she does, they're the ones who take the blame. This is extraordinarily disappointing. Given the value of Chomsky's work, it demonstrates appallingly poor judgement and hypocrisy. It just goes to show how it is important to approach everyone critically, to take what is valuable but to reject what is not.

The law says that files related to an active investigation don't have to be released. So of course they started an "active" "investigation" of similar scope to the one they closed in July to prevent their release.
