Indeed, turtles are pretty cool. I bet if pissed off people were about to fight, they would chill right out if they saw a baby turtle.
Which somehow reminds me, I took the kids to a nearby park that has geese, ducks and turtles in these wonderfully kept ponds. We had some bread feeding them, and out of the water came this granddaddy looking monster turtle. I'm not kidding when I say he was huge! But he never actually came out of the water so I couldn't say how big his bod was. His head was probably about 4in in diameter. Nevertheless, the kids always want to go back there just to see that guy, if we can coax him up.
Lots of buttery mash. What the spud was invented for, IMHO. Let us all bow down and worship at the altar of Maris Pipers...
No, the girlfriend found it online and thought I'd like it. I've got a tortoise, a camera, and easy access to mashed potatoes, but I lack the skill to put them together like that.
Aren't you in the UK? You should totally get one if you're in the UK. They're much cheaper there than in Canada, and if you get a hermanns, they're not even that hard to take care of. Two special lights, then it's no more complicated than owning a hamster.
