I just finished listening to the audiobook version of "I Claudius". It's amazing how much the Roman Senate in it's servile attempts to stay on the good side of the emperors resemble today's bunch. The summary cuts out one of the important bits IMO.

When she says ‘We will comply with state and federal law’ Trump says ‘I, we are the federal law, so you better do it…’

Here's what makes me angry:
1) Elon is a giant hypocrite. If you asked him for bullet points like that for each of his companies, what could he list?
2) The notification to do so is far too short. He's expecting this done over a weekend and a Monday, typically a busy day at the office. No heads up beforehand that this was coming, no realistic deadline.
3) Threatening to fire people who don't get it turned in on such an unrealistic timetable is a shitty thing to do.
4) it just highlights, yet again, what an awful, worthless boss Musk is.

It is make work that will only be used to target those Musk deems opponents.

No one is going to review all 2m reports. Instead if someone pisses Musk off by saying mean things about him or just ‘going slow’ (because Musk has no idea how things work everyone is going slow) the Musk regime will pull up the emails, declare the work insufficient and then fire the employee for performance so they don’t get Unemployment Insurance (so far everyone fired has been for performance).

By the way, anyone can email that address and let Musk know what you did last week.
