They changed a setting which shows the origin location of any account (this probably won't last) and shock - SHOCK! - a ton of the vocal MAGA "influence" accounts (debatable how much reach many of them have) are not based in any U.S. territory (a lot of Nigeria apparently) Lot of folks been saying MAGA and/or QAnon was a deliberate psi-op all along and this adds a loy of fuel to that accusation. It's not just MAGA accounts, it seems a huge amount of Twitter is completely full of shit Makes sense when you think about it. When Elon, with another one of his incredible ideas, monetized engagement on Twitter he invited this sort of thing Looks at where these accounts are posting from - Nigeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan....people struggle to make $300 USD a month in these places All of a sudden you have a system where bad actors, with very little effort, can profit Fucking social media man.......just an absolute disaster My only hope is that we learn from this and discount pretty much everything that is said online by Twitter accounts. But that won't happen
