Can't say I'm overly fond of this time of year. I guess driving in snow is fun, but I don't drive to work anymore.

If I could take 4-6 weeks off work every year, it would be all of October, plus a week or two on either end. LOVE this time of year.

Snow? Who the fuck gets SNOW in October?!? (:finger: East Coast!) :nyer:

Fall rocks! Crisp air, the smell of a fireplace/firepit burning. Beautiful colors on the trees. Football season. Visiting the wineries. Octoberfest! Halloween! Being perfectly comfortable outside in jeans and a flannel shirt, possibly with a jacket or vest.

Football season is probably my favorite thing about this time of year. I don't mind cooler temperatures, but I hate the cold and my loathing of the stark, angled sunlight that begins this time of year is well-documented. Plus, I can't stand the shorter daylight hours.

I'm a spring and summer kind of person. Fall and winter are too bleak for me.

Christmas oranges! And the nice crisp air! (although I haven't been able to get out for a walk much :( my husband doesn't get home until 8 at night *sigh*)

I LOVE Halloween and Christmas season. Just love it. Sadly my husband is a spoil sport and I'm not 'allowed' to start playing the Christmas movies or put the decorations up until the 1st of December.

But we spend all Oct doing Halloween activities/crafts/baking (he won't let me do a halloween tree though. He's so controlling eh? ;)) and then I do Remembrance Day activities and have the advent calendars all ready and from the 1st on every day we do little home-made gifts and activities :D plus school activities.

My Christmas shopping is all done and wrapped.

I'm like a little nauseatingly perky holiday energizer bunny. It ROCKS!!

The only thing I don't like is the cold. I totally live in the wrong country for that.

    This.

But being a worrier at heart, it's spoiled by wondering how bad a winter is coming.
