sorry but I think their military capabilities are greatly embellished. A few months ago they couldn't keep a missile from tipping over like drunken clown on stilts, and now they can reach the US mainland with a working nuke (of any magnitude?) Not buying it, just like I wasn't buying Iraq being a chemical threat to the US.

Don't look down on North Korea because they have accidents. We had them too in the early years of of our rocket program. But it is a fact that North Korea is making progress and with reports out that they may have finally figured out how to make a nuke small enough to fit on a missile things are not looking good. Look at what just happened in the United Nations Security Council. Russia, United States, and China all voted together to put sanctions on the bastard in North Korea. This is something that never happens but this last missile test was probably the straw that broke the camels back for China. China is probably worried that North Korea might actually be stupid enough to attack the United States.

There is a question I'd love to know the answer to. Why would NK bomb the US? What could it possibly gain? As far as anyone can tell all NK has ever wanted is to be left alone. So, they get their one and only nuke and hit the continental US... somewhere, as aiming shit still is way beyond them. What exactly is it they gain?
