He's trying something new. We have to shoot five rounds weak handed and he has a small issue. He can blink naturally, it closes when he sleeps, but for some reason, he can't close his right eye on command. He hasn't been able to do it since he had laser surgery for his Diabetic Retinopathy twenty years ago.

Primary Optic: Leupold VX-3 1.5-5x Illuminated Reticle
Backup: Sig STS-081 on a Daniel Defense offset mount so he can see it when shooting weak handed.

He won't listen to common sense. I had to mount everything for him, so his AR and my Garand became fast friends in the safe. Now he wants to break them apart.
