Hillary to drop out?

Drudge is foaming at the mouth right now over reports that the Hillary camp is divided over whether she should drop out of the race. A stunning turn of events, if true.

Of course, if she goes down too hard in New Hampshire, S.C., and Nevada, she may very well quit. I could see her already troubled campaign start imploding as donors jump ship and her "inevitability" disappears.

They're right, she's been working too hard to get out after 1 state. If she takes 3rd in New Hampshire, then she'll be looking for the exit.

She's not going anywhere. Her ego won't allow her to quit any earlier than Super Tuesday.

Another thing to remember is she still has a huge lead, delegate wise. Almost 100. Even with big Obama wins she'll most assuredly still be ahead in delegates come Super Tuesday.

Howard Dean dropped out well before Super Tuesday, at least unofficially.

The question is, who will she throw her weight behind? I'm guessing no one until convention.

Why are the Republican and Democrat primaries held at the same time? Is it just a convention that has built up or are there actually rules on how the political parties have to go about it?
