Drudge is foaming at the mouth right now over reports that the Hillary camp is divided over whether she should drop out of the race. A stunning turn of events, if true.

I've been saying for years that this cunt is un-electable. Guess she had to figure it out eventually.

Thank Christ. Let the bitch drop out so that all the media attention goes towards worthier candidates.

I really, really doubt it. Way to early for that. Sounds like wish fulfillment to me.

Yeah, I gotta believe wishful thinking. Conventional wisdom says she's doing well in the bigger states down the road.

Of course, if she goes down too hard in New Hampshire, S.C., and Nevada, she may very well quit. I could see her already troubled campaign start imploding as donors jump ship and her "inevitability" disappears.

They're right, she's been working too hard to get out after 1 state. If she takes 3rd in New Hampshire, then she'll be looking for the exit.

She's not going anywhere. Her ego won't allow her to quit any earlier than Super Tuesday.

Another thing to remember is she still has a huge lead, delegate wise. Almost 100. Even with big Obama wins she'll most assuredly still be ahead in delegates come Super Tuesday.

She'll be drug from this race screaming and kicking like a rabid dog. Might even steal all the 'W' keys on her way out.

Fox says she was on the verge of tears at a campaign stop in New Hampshire:
Oh, and this thread spares me from having to start a Schadenfreudeforge thread.

[edit: Darkening, Super Tuesday is when the primaries kick off in earnest, with a hold bunch of states having them on the same day.]

Howard Dean dropped out well before Super Tuesday, at least unofficially.

The question is, who will she throw her weight behind? I'm guessing no one until convention.

Why are the Republican and Democrat primaries held at the same time? Is it just a convention that has built up or are there actually rules on how the political parties have to go about it?

Because our political process is stupid.

Even more retarded is that in some states, Democrats can vote in Republican primaries, and vice versa.

    She's not going anywhere.

Quite simply, she is exercising massive restraint to not go hard negative on BHO. Once she becomes convinced the only way to survive is to kill him off by any means necessary, her minions will go to work scandalizing him...

(the only reason she hasn't yet is because she's trying to soften her image and she's afraid if she damages him but doesn't beat him she'll get the blame if all her material beats him in November)

...in the mean time, she'll hang around and hope some dirt comes out on him or he bungles something and gives away his lead.

There's a Drudge headline that Obama has had his security beefed up as of late.

Well no shit, she'll go Vince Foster on him as soon as she accepts her spot as his running mate. It's not like Democratic VP's don't have a proud history of assassination. :?:

They're probably brainwashing "white supremacist" sniper as we speak.

Maybe Ted Kennedy will offer Obama a ride home after the next debate. A horrible car crash, but Ted gets on with his life by becoming Veep.

Nah, she will let him go for a couple of years before he dies. That would allow her to finish his term and then run for two terms on her own.
