Just heard from the owner of one of Nikki's brothers from her litter that he passed too. He was 14 and 5 months. "Spridle" or "Spryte". Here they are together in 2003. He's the big one:
That's the nice thing about having a used car and a little Carfax. Thanks for the heads up, but no worries.
What I want to know is how you guys get these great shots. You, Dan, Forbin, beautiful, beautiful shots, and often impromptu ones. My camera is never ready for me to just take a shot.
This little darlin' decided to spend a few hours inside our fence today, munching various bushes, cooling out in the shade a while.
Did you scream "get off my lawn!" to these deer? That would be funny. For some reason there's a deer hanging around a dumpster where I park my car to start my woodland deer hunting/scouting. It was there for about two hours - a big healthy older doe - the way it was very reluctant to leave (as in wouldn't leave) it probably had a fawn or two tucked away in the area. Fawns are fun to watch when they get a couple of months old. They are just like a human two year old, running ahead of their mom and checking out everything and everybody with a curiosity that won't quit!
I hope you don't have and vegetables or flowers because they would last about five seconds with your constant deer invasion. Once they find a safe place (you have been vetted obviously) with good food they are very reluctant to leave. And they figure out very quickly which dogs can't get out of their yards and which ones can. I'm guessing these deer have more information on you and yours than the Chinese!
Guess what was at Teterboro Airport today? (Oddly enough in the same squadron markings as the one Lanz posted to start this thread!)
Goofin' around. Took a pic of my 1/350 scale destroyer kitbash, then took a pic with the model lights on and the photo lights off, then took a pic with all the lights off and a laser pointer aimed at the phaser turret, then picked out an astronomical photo from the web. Then comped them all together:
Four cats? You are treading on thin ice! An elderly widow down the street had about that many. Now she has a cat ranch. You can't swing a dead cat without.......hitting a live cat.
Woman I know used to have 17 cats in an apartment in Hackensack. They had their own room. I seriously doubt she got her security deposit back.
