Of course Sanders is going to support the Democrat candidate because he ardently opposes free market capitalism.

And by the way, are there Bernie operatives working for the convention?

Note the background they chose for Elizabeth Warren.

Hillary Campaign Plans to Shush Berniacs During Vote

In an email to Clinton’s California delegation, a Clinton staffer outlined a plan to drown out any sounds of descent from unruly Bernie fans.

The voices that must not be heard. They plan to surround the California delegation in particular, and will remove anyone who does anything unruly. Welcome to the new Democratic Party.

Earlier today Bernie refused to say whether he trusted Hillary to enact the agenda they agreed upon.

I must admit, it's impressive how committed Ted Cruz was to killing all those people in the 60s and 70s.

Damn, they're pretty screwed then considering Trump won't honor Article V of NATO in case of a Russian attack. You'd best for Gary Johnson if you care about them.

Who really cares what you neanderthals do with your election this time round? Your choice is between a megalomaniac who will blow up the planet and another megalomaniac who will blow up the planet. A pox o' box their houses.

Trump isn't a megalomaniac or he wouldn't have waited till he was past retirement age to even consider going into politics. He just likes building things.

So it's great that all these celebrities have been speaking at the Dem convention but when does Goldman Sachs take the stage?

As the term “live feed” might suggest, the transcriptionists are typing what they hear as they hear it. There’s no time for proofing or even backtracking to determine “What’d he say?” It’s also not easy to listen, process what you’re hearing, and type simultaneously. Plus nobody seems to learn how to touch-type anymore.

Live feed errors don’t annoy me. What annoys me is closed captioning on a big budget film or TV episode where they’ve got plenty of time in post to fix the errors but they can’t be bothered. :brood:

That's almost identical to the ad Donnie ran to paper the house for his first NY rally. It's got "John Miller's" fingerprints all over it.

So apparently Donald Trump thinks that committing treason by soliciting espionage services from Russia is a proper way to run a Presidential campaign: “Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing."

I've been saying for a while that Trump isn't really worse than the other Republicans, that he just says explicitly the things they hint at, but this, I think, is different. It puts Watergate to shame as a crooked campaign tactic, and it puts Sarah Palin to shame as a stupid campaign tactic. The rest of the Republicans are horrible, but they wouldn't have done this.

Assange knows where the leaks came from, and he indicates it's not Russia, and that people will be shocked when they find out the truth.

That means its very likely a DNC insider who is fed up with Hillary or DWS.

They probably don't have anything on him, at least not anything that people right here in the U.S. don't already have on him. Trump just seriously admires Putin. Putin is who Trump wants to be: an actual billionaire, monumentally authoritarian, toxically masculine, and someone his people are afraid to make fun of. While Trump has down the authoritarianism, he's probably a mere multi-millionaire, he's a crybaby with all the masculinity of an amoeba, and he's viewed and spoken of as a clown more often than not by his fellow countrymen.

Actually, he refused to confirm or deny the source. But then, you are a liar, so the very claim you have made is self-repudiating, whether or not Farmboy believes it.

Trump talked about it at length.

As he points out, Hillary hasn't had a press conference in about seven months - because she can't answer questions that aren't prearranged. He also talks about his relationship with Putin. And he talks about Bernie. He talks about pretty much anything the press asks about.

Skip to 33:35 to catch what he said.

The whole Russian spin is a poor deflection anyway. This isn't the cold war and the Rooskie bogeyman doesn't have the same impact it once had. Even if true it doesn't take away from the contents of the e-mails that helpfully brought to light the rampant media collusion between the DNC and reporters. Plus the shady way they conducted the primary.
