If Trump is having great success in recruiting quality people for his golf resorts in Scotland and Ireland, wouldn't it make sense to use some of them in Palm Beach during the peak season? But Hillary Clinton could go on stage and the DNC convention, shoot a disabled, wheelchair bound illegal immigrant in the back of the head on stage, and she could not be indicted for it because US law does not apply to her.

What a horrible mess this whole matter has become. I'd vote for Clinton just to prevent Trump. It's sickening, I admit. But Trump becoming POTUS? Trump!?! This fucking guy?!? What a nightmare.

Johnson will not be elected. Hillary or Donald will be. If you live in a swing state I'd suggest voting for the lessor of the evils rather than playing games.

Voting for the "lesser of two evils" is playing their game. And the attitude that Johnson will not win so don't bother voting for him plays directly into that game.

You are correct of course, but Trump is so clueless and incompetent, it is absolutely painful to watch. IMO, it's better to swallow the pride and vote for Clinton. At least she is not dangerous and represents the status quo. As POTUS, she won't do much damage.

PHILADELPHIA — The six flag poles on top of the Philadelphia City Hall are bare Thursday morning. One city official who asked not to be named told The Daily Caller that the U.S flags typically atop the City Hall flagpoles have been moved to the Democratic National Convention stage.

Lauren Hitt, communications director for the City of Philadelphia, told TheDC that the flags were taken down for “safety reasons.”

“We took them down for safety reasons. Every time we needed to lower them to half-staff, we needed to get a roofer down here who would then have to use 2 ladders to get to where the flags were. Given the thunderstorms, expected flash floods and extreme heat we’ve experienced this week, we didn’t feel it was safe,” she said.

Hitt has not yet responded to an inquiry from TheDC about where the flags previously flying currently are.

As if Clinton (or the Obama administration in general) was responsible for the current situation in Libya... This is as simplistic and short-sighted as saying that western imperialism is responsible for ISIS. Clinton and Obama are responsible for the current situation in Libya. European oil firms persuaded Hillary (probably by giving her millions of dollars) that it was imperative to intervene. Note that the push only started when Qaddafy threatened to yank the European oil rights and give them to China. But Hillary and Obama weren't willing to commit any stabilization force, calling it "leading from behind". So they armed rebels and used air power to topple Qaddafi, and then Hillary immediately moved in to try to make money off the chaos. Sydney Bloomethal's e-mails to her make that quite clear, as he had investors lined up to take advantage of any opportunities there. When she turned that e-mail over to Congress she deleted the paragraphs where Blumenthal said that, which is evidence tampering (yet another felony), but thankfully the Guccifer hack of Sydney's e-mails revealed the real version of the e-mail.

So without any Western force providing for security and stability, hundreds of jihadists overran Qaddify's military weapons depots and looted everything. They got thousands of shoulder fired missiles, probably tens of thousands of RPG's and machine guns, and ever since they've been having a field day. Yet Hillary also refused requests for increased security at our consulate, resulting in the tragic death of four Americans and the abandonment of Benghazi, and very quickly the abandonment of the entire country to jihadists. It was far easier for Obama and Hillary to cut and run than admit they fucked up over and over again, and try to correct it. So now Libya is overrun with ISIS.

Back to the election, Hillary is apparently paying hundreds and hundreds of people to attend the convention and pretend to be Bernie delegates.

I'm not suggesting otherwise, I'm saying that in all but 5-10 states, a third party vote (at anything other than record breaking levels) has zero effect on the outcome of the popular vote in that state. In a close state, say Ohio, one could argue that a vote for a third party amounts to a vote for the worse major party candidate...but that would have to assume that the majority of third party voters all came out of (in this case) potential Clinton voters which is a tough case to make (more likely the opposite but also hard to prove)

So, to illustrate - if you live in MS, a vote for Johnson is just a vote for Johnson - party building at best. Because the Republicans could nominate David Duke and win going away. If you live in MA a vote for Johnson is a vote for Johnson and has no effect on the reality that Clinton or anyone else the Democrats might nominate will win the state going away.
