Is this thing on? Okay, so it's a couple weeks early, but I just read a fantastic blog post, and I'm gonna let it stand in for my annual opening.... That pretty much mirrors my thoughts. Let's kick this pig, as always pour one out for the fallen Husker, @Techman
I like being the team that everyone discounts but makes a run at a national title every couple of years, sometimes even snagging one.
I'll be keeping tabs on Oregon and Oregon State, as usual. Don't have high hopes for the Beavers, though
Coach Bro and my Red Raiders will come through with at least a .500 season. /prediction Let the sadness begin.
Are we doing a fantasy league this year? Because I apparently have an account on ESPN for that sort of thing.

Two people have joined the Wordforge College Football Pick 'em Game, so far http://games.espn.go.com/college-football-pickem/2014/en/group?groupID=27812 password: yayMizzou
I'm totally down with this whole score every drive thing, not too cool with the let the other guy score every drive.
Not at the time. Now I am much more happy with the game. Hopefully when this weather delay lifts they haven't regrouped. Also, GOD DAMMIT West Virginia. You fucking juggle in the end zone, then high snap? The fuck is this, amateur hour?!?! Busch League Big IX bullshit...
Have you ever watched a College Football game? My wife wont watch the College stuff, she says it's "too stressful". Man, that was the same excuse she used when we tried to watch some World Rally Championship and British Touring Car Racing.
I hate moral victories, but it's hard not to be positive after last night. Lose more starters than any team in a major conference, bad special teams play and turnovers, and go toe to toe with the champs? Yeah I'll take that. One thought, we've yet to grasp how the four team playoff will affect the season. A game like that is essentially meaningless. It only helps whatever team comes out of it and does well. Say OSU wins the conference (they won't, prolly 8-4) that loss doesn't hurt like it would've in the past, in fact it validates them. The playoff is going to be AWESOME.
For anyone that cares, a lesson in how you go from winning an Orange Bowl to the cellar. http://www.kansascity.com/sports/college/big-12/university-of-kansas/article1328898.html
The ESPN picks are open for this week. I'm not sure what to make of seeing so many games predicted to break the way I'd prefer them to.
Tonight the fighting Eagle/Tigers take on the Silver Fox and his Manhattan Miracles. Middle of the road Big XII vs an SEC contender. In other words, a pick em.
