I like the self-deprecating humor in regards to his illness but that it doesn't seem to be the butt of every joke (hopefully). And I like that Michael J. Fox was able to finally get back into show business, I hope this show takes off.
The season final of Hannibal is on June 27. NBC is in no hurry to announce its future. However, the ratings are abysmal. Hannibal should be cancelled. In the fall, NBC will have a much better show. I'll be watching to see how it goes, but one thing I'll be looking for is a thread of the sardonic take on local news and not just everything revolving around his condition.
He was the highlight of the last series of Curb Your Enthusiasm. If he brings that along with Mrs. Schraeder and Bunk it looks like it can fill the 30 Rock slot. Media loves nothing more than shows about media, that combined with his affliction means they'll hype the shit out of this.
This looks fantastic. Spader has such tremendous screen presence, I'll watch pretty much anything he's in.
Fox has had a recurring gig on The Good Wife the past few seasons as a shady, manipulative lawyer who uses his Parkinson's to his advantage and he's been awesome. It shows that not only can he act around his Parkinson's, but that he still had some good dramatic chops.
I doubt that New York union rules would allow for a reporter and producer to ride in the back of a microwave van without wearing seatbelts.
