Good riddance, it was awful. A shame they never figured out how to make it work. Family Guy sucked the first couple seasons, until they finally figured out to center it on Brian and Stewie. And American Dad sucked for a looong time, until they finally figured out to give Roger the whole costume changing thing, and then made it into a frigging superpower. There wasn't a good character to flesh out on Cleveland. They all sucked. They could have found a characteristic to pull out in one of them, like Roger's costume thing...but they didn't even seem to try. They were kinda hinting at that the fat son murdered the real son, and was a spy, they could've done something with that...but 4 fucking years pissed away is too little, too late. So, again, good riddance. And welcome back, Bob's Burgers!
I couldn't stand The Cleveland Show. I never could stand the way he talked. He was only funny on The Family Guy in short segments, like the long-running gag of sliding out of the house in a bathtub. How appropriate then that his show flushed down the toilet.
Good, now Cleveland can come back to Family Guy! oh, and Bob's Burger's sucks elephant choda! (So I'm not surprised that Dickynoo likes it)
It had so little appeal to me that I've never seen an episode. Same with Bob's Burgers, actually. I can't remember the last time I've watched any of FOX's Sunday animated shows, including The Simpsons. It's been years since I watched that show (I quit watching well before the movie was released).
I watched about a minute and a half of "Bob's Burgers." I've given some thought to starting a memorial thread for that minute and a half.
Lemme give it my rundown. The Simpsons still manages a funny moment here and there but it's nowhere near what it once was. Bob's Burgers is unwatchably awful. Family Guy remains little more than a Simpsons clone, but at least has an edge to it and can be quite funny. American Dad and The Cleveland Show never caught my interest.
Good riddance to Cleveland. Now they can spend more energy & attention to American Dad (superior to FG).
The first two seasons were really bad, but it has actually been really good this season. Check out "God Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins" from the third season. If that doesn't pique your interest, nothing will.
I wonder if they will write him back into Family Guy somehow, and if the whole new family will come with him.
I never understood how they thought he could carry a show by himself. The character wasn't very memorable on Family Guy except for the occasional jokes.
Well, I guess between Peter's other friends (the date rapist and an angry cop in a wheelchair), they figured Cleaveland had the wider appeal. I'm not the biggest fan of Seth MacFarlane anyway...this was the only one of his shows I could sit though every week. I didn't even like "Ted," which felt like a live-action version of his cartoons, complete with cutaways and the 80's sitcom music theme throughout the movie.
Not interested in Bob's Burgers but Archer spoofing it as an episode opener was fucking awesome.......
I like all the Loren Bouchard shows. Dr Katz, Science Court, Home Movies, Lucy Daughter Of The Devil, and Bob's Burgers. I dunno, I just like that easygoing improv style they have. Hard to explain. You love it, or you hate it, and it can't be backed by logic either way.
Lucy Daughter Of The Devil Should have had at least one more season. I'd prefer several more actually......
I want to push DJing. I want it to be more than DJing, and also less than DJing. That's why I started incorporating nearicles into my set. Nearicles are like almost miracles. You get close, but it's not quite there. It's, it's a nearicle.
