Of paradise. Never mind religion, or faith, or even belief.

If you could press a magic button (a big red shiny candy-like button) and be transported to "paradise," what would it be?

For me it's a cabin in a forest. On the side of a hill overlooking a lake. It's fall, with cool crisp air, chilly nights, sunny days, a fire in the fireplace and that one special someone to share it with.

The ocean on a well-stocked sailboat, a decent wind, and a day or two before or since next/last port of call. Or anywhere in there.

Man, I like both of those! Mine would be a cross between the two -- Lanzman's cabin with climate, fire, and sexy soul mate, but on the beach, where I can just catch a glimpse now and then of Tuttle's boat as he sails by.

So long as we're fantasizing, the Upper East Side of Manhattan is kind of useless, but if it were somehow replaced with a pristine mountain lake, that lakefront property would be just about perfect.

Of course as a Jets fan I'd settle for having lifetime 50 yard line tickets at a stadium of our own, Hess Field, a.k.a. "The Hanger."

The money to live in my beach home in the winter, my Oklahoma home most of the year, and long European/world vacations. With my current husband and our children. I want it all. :)

"With my feet upon the ground,
I lose myself between the sounds
and open wide to suck it in,
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out.
I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me,
    whatever will bewilder me...

And following our will and winds
we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end
and may just go where no one's been.

    Spiral out.
    Keep going.
    Spiral out.
    Keep going.
    Spiral out.
    Keep going.
    Spiral out.
    Keep going.

    Keep going...!"

My own land to deer hunt - to be able to put up permanent blinds, design funnels, etc.
Also some of the land designated for rabbit hunting.
And when I'm done hunting for the day I have sex with hot young chicks - mostly Latinas , Jews, Asians and Italians.

It was nice to see you there. I'll repeat here what I said there:

A beach covered in white sand, surrounded by palm trees, up against an azure ocean. A small house, with all the amenities necessary (including a large room with an overstuffed chair and shelves piled high with books). It's not an island, as I don't want to be completely alone, but it's also not loud, or filled with noisy people. There are a few people there, however, and we are all very close.

Of course, that's only one of many.

A thousand acres of Hill Country land with a river or other live water on it, a very large house as well as separate guest houses, a big pool, fully stocked indoor and outdoor bars and a comfy home theater.

I'd also lay track all around and across the property and run a 1/5 scale train so my friends and I could ride around and drink.

I'll grant you that the second part is sad. Everything about being a Jets fan is sad. Still, it's more sad to fail to acknowledge your fandom.

As for the first part, NYC is a fantastic place, but it's really missing a nice mountain lake. If you don't like NYC, that's your problem, not mine.

You that you would watch his boat go by.

    Tuttle is in your fantasy.

    I found that strange.

It makes more sense now that I know you like him.

It's not that nobody got it. It's that it bombed. When that happens it's best just to move on.

If I could press a button, all of my friends would be alive and everyone would be my friend, and we would all work together to learn 24 hours a day about history, Christianity, Mathematics, Science, and Austrian Ecomics.

I want to play football (on the same team) with my daddy. He wanted to play football in high school but had to work. It would also be great getting to have my nephews (who played 20 years after I did) on the same team as well.

Overall though I like the Mormon idea of heaven where God gives us each our own universe to be a god over.
