There is a reality that women are seeing what they thought were reasonable guys supporting kavenaugh well beyond reasonable things and now they are being told to shut up and take it by a number of them. It hopefully will continue to go on so they can remember how important it is not to fall for it. This is what happens when you give abusive guys the benefit of the doubt and think they just made a mistake and they are really good guys. There are good guys who don't do this, and when you chase down rapey assholes and give them an inch you are taking their whole cock.

I will go so far as to say there is no criminal case against him for the rape at this point. It is important to talk about the fact that women should not be shamed for coming forward and to show our support for their stories so that when things like this happen they can feel comfortable in coming forward. We have to do better because there is a pretty big message here that if you come forward you will be threatened and intimidated by other rapists for claiming the crime. We need to get rid of the men who come out and threaten ford and any other woman who comes forward. We have a legal system where it requires proof and is an uphill batle to protect men from false accusations or if there is not evidence of the encounter. We have methods for seeking civil restitution for spreading lies and making false accusations,. We do not need an army of vigilante rapists running around intiomidating and attacking any woman for coming out about her experience.

Hopefully over the next few weeks we will see these men prosecuted and fired for their over the top attacks on ford and women in general. The movement of republican women hate needs to have it's back broken.
