El Chup was an interesting person and occasionally seemed genuinely interested in friendship. But that doesn't take away from him being a two faced bastard who deliberately put stuff online in an attempt (by his own admission) to hurt me in real life. Something he should've been banned from this board for. I feel no regrets about attacking that bastard now given what he did.
Hollywood's had a long, rough history with this crap. And somehow, Trump wins again. The evil fucker must have signed a deal with Beelzebub.
As a black man it certainly is disappointing to hear this and there's no place for it. However, considering all the good things President Reagan did for the country, and indeed for the world, I'm going to let this pass. After all, the man was born in 1911 and grew up in a different era.
You have to judge people in the context of the times in which they grew up and lived. The current ignorant effort to judge historical people using modern beliefs is retarded to the extreme.
Reagan's father, for all his faults (severe alcoholism) still was idealistic regarding race relations. I remember reading that he slept in his car once rather than stay in a white's only motel. John (Jack) Edward Reagan At the time of Ronald Reagan's birth in 1911, Jack was working at a store in Tampico, Illinois. He went on to work as a traveling salesman during Reagan's childhood. Politically, he was a populist Democrat, supporting economically progressive policies such as financial support for the working poor, trust-busting, child labor laws, a minimum wage, and progressive taxation. From his Irish heritage he inherited a dislike of the British Empire. He was a keen supporter of the United States' involvement in World War I and attempted to enlist. He was strongly opposed to the Ku Klux Klan due to his Catholic heritage, but also due to the Klan's anti-semitism and anti-black racism
Poor barky is mad because the trump family cages black dogs while allowing white ones to shit in the oval office.
John Brown. Frederick Douglass. Harriet Tubman. Harriet Beecher Stowe. Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Nat Turner. Henry David Thoreau. Martin Luther King, Jr. Malcolm X. Oscar Wilde. Harvey Milk. Marcia P. Johnson. You don't have to be black to know that whipping a black man until his back is bloody is wrong. You don't have to be a Jew to know that gassing Jews is wrong. You don't have to be gay to know that clubbing a gay man to death is wrong. No matter "the times," there is no excuse for treating other human beings as unthinking, unfeeling animals. You simply wish to justify your racism as merely being a product of your culture. It makes the bitter pill much easier to swallow.
I disagreed with this because while it's true to a very broad extent people are usually over generous about it. A stone age tribe who have no way of understanding geology so think a local volcano is an angry God demanding sacrifice? Yeah, they're operating on a whole different wavelength. Closer to the modern world though, nah. It isn't like opinions switch overnight, there are gradual ongoing shifts and the direction of the tide is often clear. Would Reagan have got up and said this on TV? No? Why? Because he would have known it was a shitty thing to say. Those a couple of hundred years ago who supported slavery? Racist pieces of shit. There were plenty of abolishionists, and in private writings many would write how deep down they knew it was wrong but good golly how could they make money if they actually followed through.
MLK Jr. used the word negro in many of his works, and even his famous dream speech. Today that word is considered to be a prejudiced way to refer to black people. Today if some idiot was making references to blacks as negros they would be considered racists because we realize the word became a new way of saying nigger by white racists who did not want to seem racist. Is MLK racist? No, but he did grow up in a time when even people who fought against racism used common words that would later be considered part of the racism in society. So we have to take people's other actions into account in the past to determine whether they are racist. In reagan's case we see a number of his policies and behaviors to be quite racist, so there is little case to say he was just using colloquial terms other people used as some of his defenders here are trying to imply. I am not really sure how comparison's to monkeys and pretending black people were uncomfortable with civilization like shoes can be anything other than racist, but people like @Paladin , @Dinner , and @Tracker show their true colors in trying to say it is all racist black people and non-racists being racist for why this is considered wrong.
Your genitals are not very masculine being your dick goes inward. Just sayin. Oh and Dayton is dead, and all we have no is a dumb black dog.
This was recorded in 1971. Are you suggesting that Reagan couldn't possibly have known that referring to African UN delegates as monkeys was a shitty thing to do in 1971?
You think AlphaMan is a black woman? You’re either stupid as shit or you’re doing some serious back peddling.
You need to up your schtick. May I suggest changing your user name as it seems to have helped out late village idiot so much?
Correction. I was thinking of that woman who lists herself as the "liberal queen of the TBBS". Aren't you still one of the ones who banned me for no good reason by the way.
He's got an "everyone is black" schtick going right now. It's stump fuckingly stupid, which is something at which he excels.
But you know as well as I do, they can ban you for any reason they wish. That they have no honor or integrity is really all that matters.
Everyone isn't black. Everyone's gay. And we all wanna fuck Dayton up the ass. Muaahahahaaa!!! Oh, shit, he heard the plan!
I haven't said "everyone is black". @Tererun is white. @shootER is white @Tuckerfan is white @garamet is white @ed629 is white To name just a handful. And why are you offended at my pointing out various members here are black?
