Will anyone go to jail for this?

It seems like the police need a kick in the ass to make the charges. I would say that is a reason someone, or people, need to be fired. There should not be an option to just sit around and see if no one complains so you can bury a case. A kid died because of homicide, now it is time for police investigators and the prosecutor to do their job and make charges and a case against those involved, or explain why the case cannot be made. This is the job, and they need to do it.

Interestingly, that was a rather historic bar in Nashvegas, that might have been killed by the pandemic and gentrification of the neighborhood. It was sold around the start of the pandemic, with the new owners (a large development corporation) promising to preserve it, then sometime later, they announced they were going to flatten it and put high-end apartments (or something) in its place. I know there were efforts to fight that, but I'm not sure how that's going.

They did manage to hold the developer to an obligation to reopen the bar (eventually), but much like the El Mocambo it's now "classy" to the point I'd be embarrassed to puke in one of the booths.

Portland cops had a slide on a training presentation that included the "Prayer of the Alt Knight/Based Stickman" meme ("Based Stickman" is a pseudonym of a fucking Proud Boy cunt who was filmed hitting an antifa counterprotestor with a wooden fence post). The meme says that "dirty hippies" should feel woe because the Lord is going to send his "servants" armed "with hat and with bat" to "christen your heads with hickory and anoint your faces with pepper spray".
