You don't think abortion is murder and suspected cases should be treated as such? If so apologies for our mistake.
I was under the impression that a stillbirth involves a child lost during an attempted delivery and isn't an aborted child. Maybe I'm mistaken. If I am, I apologize.
Well since I'm a returning n00b, let me ask...do you think abortion is murder and those who have one should be prosecuted for such action?
I do, although I understand the rape/incest/child abuse argument. I also understand that it's nothing that the government should be involved in.
A woman should not have the right to make a private, unencumbered medical decision without someone else's "permission" or approval? If so, who decides who gives said permission/approval?
If it's nothing the government should be involved in it's by definition something that should be legal.
And in order to maintain consistency, I'm not calling for a federal ban on abortion either. But most of you clowns go strictly by your emotions and care nothing about the Constitution or consistency.
Thank you for not calling for a federal ban, though you strike me as someone who'd be happy if one were instituted.
Don’t fall for it. He just wants to substitute each state for a federal ban. He’s just as full of shit as ever.
We've just seen that SCOTUS will happily allow states or even agencies to ignore the 4th and 14th. It's only by SCOTUS decision that the 1st is interpreted to apply to government actors as a whole, rather than just Congress. I highly doubt TLS would be in favour of "leave it to the states" if SCOTUS decided it didn't violate the 1st for states to make practicing Christianity illegal, if they had laws that could prevent you from crossing state lines for the purposes of doing so and, in fact, could issues bounties to have you forcibly brought back. I mean, it's not a FEDERAL ban.
Would I be happy if fewer babies were butchered to death? Sure, but things need to be done the right way. I'm also against the death penalty.
You can outwardly deny it if you wish, but you can't deny what is in your heart. You know that the most defenseless of human beings are being killed in the womb. All of you know this. ❤
White millionaires? I mean, the GOP puts a fuckload more effort into protecting THEM than it does kids, so they MUST be.
Since that's a purely religious perception, allow me the luxury of suggesting you're insulting MY beliefs which clearly state that life begins at birth. You're entitled to your opinion, but you aren't entitled to tell me what I know "in my heart". That's what I know in my heart, based on my religious beliefs and the way I was brought up. I agree that abortion as birth control is irresponsible, that's why kids need to be taught explicitly how it all works, and be given the freedom to prevent conception when they begin to discover their sexuality.
Just for kicks, a child is not alive 5 minutes before it exits its mother? It's literally dead? Or are you lying to yourself and us?
By definition, it is not alive until it takes it's first breath. As far as I'm concerned, you're just being insulting because you know your "feelings" are based in religious dogma. Having seen more than one stillbirth (as well as more than one miscarriage) it's all about the breath, baby.
That's patently ridiculous and my position has nothing to do with religion. But regardless, it's for the individual states to sort out. As it should be.
