I dunno. I live three miles from a naval base. Things get weird after they find out I used to be Air Force, sort of like they’re itching to mutter “ flying air fag.” Or they’re upset that the Space Force is an Air Force derivative. Or maybe it is football. We’re still into gladiators and arenas, so much so, that if you are a rock star, you have to be arena grade. The only difference between us and Ancient Rome, is that with the latter, the gladiators killed each other in the arena. Now, after the game, the fans jump into the arena and kill one another.
