Saw this while having lunch a few minutes ago and moaned audibly.

She seemed like she'd go forever.

I would have gone with "Big Wheel Didn't Keep on Turning" for her iconic rendition of Proud Mary.

I got to see her perform live back in 1987, and, honestly, She could make any song iconic. She’s one of those people you just have to see live to appreciate how much she could bring to a performance.

She's another person I thought had already died. But could have gotten her confused with Whitney Houston.
