Now that we do not have to wear masks and social distance, COVID is fun. Monday a guy in a mazzerati got mad at me and decided he wanted me to spray him with spittle because I would not slam on my breaks and let him cut me off. Little did I know I left him with an extra gift because the fever hit me that night. Then I was grumpy today so I went out grocery shopping. All of a sudden I went all good samaritan on the self check out line helping idiots because invisible cloud of death. The old people even thanked me I was so nice. It is a community service around here to take out elderly people in the way on the fast line. Fucking old assholes. I even decided on a quick trip to target to cough on their Stanley Cups because every person who buys one deserves a painful death gurgling on their own phlegm. I think tomorrow I am going to find myself an old trumpanzee diner and start thanking everyone for their votes. This is all in how you look at things.
Anyone know how to preserve COVID. I am afraid I am going to run out before Stanley runs out of cups, or The Duh runs out of idiots.
No need to felch, I can shoot liquid shit a good twenty feet in a nice spray at this point. I am pretty sure if someone went to felch me at this point I would blow their skullcap off in a sort of fountain of shit and brains. For some reason COVID gets me right in the IBS.
Yabut you wanna make sure you get it right and nice in their gaping pieholes, preferably as they're screaming homophobic and transphobic slurs at you. Gotta make Shart Week memorable.
We are being failed, on purpose, at every level. California health officials shorten COVID isolation period to 1 day Source: https://ktla.com/news/california/ca...-announce-shorter-covid-isolation-guidelines/
Things have got to be better. Two mondays ago I went bowling in an over 55 league in the morning, and then to old people bingo that night. I went to sleep and I woke up with a fever and the shakes and it was Covid. So when I was at these two events I must have been positive, but it seems there was no one who I talked to who came down with it. They are all vaccinated and now are operating without social isolation which means they are probably tripping their immunity from time to time. At this point it is much like a cold. Yes, the rare person is going to get hammered, and we have some treatments, but for the most part we have to live with this. It is not going away. Maybe we should do a plittle more time off if we get it, but the machine is not going to let most of us do that.
It's more than a cold, though. COVID, aside from the fact that repeated infections open us up to so many other deadly illnesses (like Measles, Polio, etc), but LongCovid is a real issue, and a disabling one. It's like the federal government saw the AIDS epidemic and said "it'll work itself out." I mean, Reagan did that for years, and so many people died. Fuck Reagan, may he burn in hell. Sorry, carry on.
A lot more people caught Covid than similar illnesses like this, but longcovid is not some new thing only Covid does. other illnesses do the long term thing when you get a severe infection, or even when you get a mild infection. At this point longcovid is called something that happens. Long term life changing effects were always on the table if you got sick. Covid effect3ed a lot more people than some of the lower infectious germs, and aside from that we have a chicken little media trying to whip everyone up into a frezy about all of us going to die so they can get more clicks on their articles. I am still waiting for the end of the human race @Asyncritus was running around losing his shit over, with a few other people. The reality is we are going to be living with this forever. As a race we are going to live with this. Just the next time we have something like this we need to focus on how we get more MAGAts to kill themselves. Not enough of them died horribly for my taste. We really could have done better.
Well, there's a lot of science behind the fact that COVID hides in your body's organs, and affects the brain, heart, nervous system, and other parts while you test negative. Long Covid is especially dangerous, and isn't just something you get long term from, say, the flu, but is an actual debilitating issue that needs addressed because the US doesn't have a real safety net for disabled people. Long COVID or Post-acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC): An Overview of Biological Factors That May Contribute to Persistent Symptoms https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34248921/ These RNA mimics enter the brain, and can lead to the development of diseases like Alzheimers. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2024-01-short-toxic-rnas-brain-cells.html Essentially, COVID has the same deadly effect on the immune system and the organs as HIV does, but because COVID is airborne, that makes it so much more dangerous. That people are not masking is wildly reckless, and as the COVID numbers continue to show massive infections from our wastewater data, people are going around like things are fine. We are not fine. We are pulling Trump era COVID numbers, and the media isn't talking about it like the threat it is, instead they hedge as not to offend their corporate leadership.
Again, I am not saying it does not do this. I am saying Long Covid is just a bullshit term because it is just Covid. It is just what the effects of the Virus are and what is to be expected from something like this. This is what viruses do. Long Covid is just a term to get clicks and give people a new whining point. This is just an effect of getting a viral infection for many of us. Long Covid makes it sound like someone got another infection when really it is just Covid. Some of us are going to die from it. Some of us are going to have long term effects frokm it. Some of us will get it and be done with it. This is what getting sick is. Some people die from what they call a cold. This is why you don't go around being an anti-vax plague rat. This is also why you don't run around being an @Asyncritus pretending everyone is going to die from something we know had lower than a 1 percent mortality rate. You can get long term effercts from Covid that last for the rest of your life because this is the damage a viral infection can do. There is no special Long term Covid disease. There is just the long term effects you got from getting sick. We do not call it Long Term Measels. We just say you had measles so you you have to watch out for the long term effects. This is why you get the MMR vaccine over being an anti-vax plague rat like RFK.
Covid killed 170,000 in nursing homes. Most residents still haven’t gotten the latest shot. You'll never guess two of the three states that have the highest rate of vaccination.
Blacklist. Season 2, Episode 5. The Front. First aired Oct 2014. Now I understand why conspiracy theorists think Covid was engineered and intentionally released on the public.
Dude got 217 COVID shots in just over two years. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(24)00134-8/fulltext
The fact that this guy went nuts over the COVID shot pretty much destroys any of the dumbass anti-vax arguments. Although I do hear his 5G reception is amazing!
