Who has a good shot at an undefeated season? Which teams will perform the traditional sulk over being left out of the playoff? How many times will opponents have to fall for the "untied shoelaces" gag for Missouri to win the whole SEC? And are we going to do this thing again? Because the password is still yayMizzou.

I was told to come start a thread because of tradition.

As an Oklahoma State fan, never cared much for tradition. :storm:

At least we played with some urgency in the second half and made sure two Michigan schools went O-fer on opening night.

Unexpected win of the day: Portland State takes down Washington State, 24-17. Go Vikings!
As expected, Oregon pulls out their high scores, though their defense was a bit loose against Eastern Washington. Still, at 61-42, the Ducks did their traditional double digit win.
And Oregon State has a good start for their season against Weber State with a 26-7 win. I'm hoping for a good season out of the Beavers so there's a Civil War worth watching, but they've not had great seasons these last few years.

I thought we were playing the honorable Arkansas State, no we're playing something called "Central Arkansas".

I'll be watching the OU/Tennessee game.

I gotta say I didn't think Primadonna Mayfield had it in him. OU did well last night, the OU Football Monster had been awakened, now it must be fed.

As for the Cowboys? Small victory over a small team, I await being impressed.

Well, Mizzou managed to walk away with a win, but Maty Mauk's on the hot seat for sure now.

So @Tex isn't gonna get in here and talk about Kliff Kingsbury's mic drop on Brett Bielema?

I loved it @evenflow. Bielema's retort wasn't bad either but his 11-17 record at Arkansas does kind of weaken the punch.

How do you feel about OSU vs Texas this weekend? Part of me is concerned that Texas may have found a good QB in the 4th quarter last week but overall they are still a sloppy looking program.

Although I joined 2 weeks late, I am still doing OK at the picks. There were some hard pics and a lot of upsets this last week. Who saw Kentucky beating Missouri?

It was not a surprise. The Mizzou offense struggled in their first games. They probably had no business being ranked by this point.

Meanwhile, I went against my usual pessimism rule of thumb and picked AZ to beat UCLA. That hurt. AZ State didn't beat USC either. :(

Fucking hell, Oregon. You called that 'defense'? Utah tore you down.
At least Oregon State falling to Stanford was no surprise. :jayzus:

Got an E-mail to remind me to enter this week, some REALLY good games. Picked a few underdogs, may either win big or lose my ass this week. But what the hell. :D :D

Anyone who's actually watched the Mizzou "offense" in action this year. The "D" is good, but it's hard to win if you can't get in the end zone often....

If Miami could have upset Fla State I'd have done a lot better. Oh well it's just for fun anyways.

    Oregon vs. ASU.
    Triple OT.
Game ends on an interception touchback.

    Holy. Shit.

It's OK...savior Maty Mauk is non longer longer suspended from the team, so the offense should get better shortly.
Maybe not a lot better, but if they can score 14 points instead of 3 or 6, they could still manage to win a game or two.

I guess a significant losing streak trumps (alleged) drug-dealing when the backup QB can't get the job done...

Can someone change your picks? I know I picked Florida State and Oklahoma, Not Oklahoma St, or Florida. And my score was not what I remember picking. I am going to start writing down my picks to see if they change. Not saying anyone here did it, no reason for that, just wondered if it's possible the system might have done it.
