@14thDoctor hasn't been the same since he defended ... that pedophile. He's been trying way to hard since to earn the respect of our far right posters. Not sure if he realizes they never will.
Well, he tends not to trust women who speak out against people he likes. Some of them he shames, others he just rejects their identity entirely out of some sense of malice? Anger? Resentment? Don't know, and don't really care. He's made his choices, and he backs them to the point where he's willing to damage others to get what he thinks he wants. In short, he's an ally until you cross him. That's his prerogative if he so chooses it.
What, I don't trust women because I don't accept your impotent rants against the best chance to stop Trump? This is one of the reasons you're taken exactly as seriously as you are.
You know there's a reason Federal Farmer gets called "Boy Jenee," right? You know it's not a flattering reason, right?
Oh yeah, busted. Marso and Zombie and Federal Farmer and oldfella love me. Captain X and Dinner and I own a timeshare together. Their approval is what I live for.
You don't trust women who speak out against people you like, whether they be a well known director, or an American president. I believe it likely extends to anyone, in terms of drawing your ire, but so far you have vocally defended two men who were accused of rape, one who was formally charged, another who has been accused of rape, and has been charged with sexual harassment from a total of 8 women. You must like Joe Biden, because you defend him so strongly despite being a Canadian who has no direct say in our political system. It's easy for you to say who you think should be president, but you don't get to live in the society they create or change as a result, and so the risk on you is much lesser than on someone like me, who feels the direct effects of every president, because of where I am on the totem pole when all things are considered. Red authoritarian or blue authoritarian, I get to directly experience the fallout from their policies. They're both awful men, and while Biden isn't Trump, Biden is also not a good man, and has no business being in the position he's in due to his being one of the primary reasons we're here in the first place. If evil truly cannot drive out evil, then Biden sure as hell won't drive out corruption and authoritarianism, despite the grandfatherly face upon which it rests its credibility. TL;DR - For talking about taking someone seriously, I'm not the one who has defended two men accused of raping someone while in their position of power and influence. So perhaps your judgment is less than credible?
Holy shit, you're identifying as female now. I honestly had no idea until just now when I saw you tell Jenee in the that other thread. So... 1. Sorry for the misgendering, kind of? I honestly didn't know, but you could have just told me the first time instead of being an asshole about it. 2. I don't trust you because Bernie suspending his campaign appears to have broken your brain and replaced your sense of reason with hysteria and despair. And again, because you've been such an asshole about it. 3. Just start calling me PedoRay and be done with it. I know that won't properly cover the racism, homophobia, transphobia, colonialism, and misogyny you're also accusing me of, but you have to admit it's catchier.
You didn't?! I thought you did! Honestly, I thought you knew and were doing it on purpose. It's why I kept getting so upset. Well, if nothing else, I owe you an apology for that. I'm sorry I assumed you were denying my identity on purpose. I am despairing. A lot! From where I sit we're all in a metric fuck ton of trouble, but especially the U.S.! At the worst you have a trading partner that makes you very uneasy. For me, it can get much worse beyond that. Bernie lost, and yeah that bothered me, but he was my compromise. He's out now, and I have no representative who is going to fight for me. The Democratic party made their choice, and I'm wholly against him because he defines the casual classism and racism that is so woven into U.S. social and political culture. He is an extension of the problem, not a solution. Yes, I'm aware the other side of the coin is a man who thinks fascism sounds like a fun romp in the park, but I cannot vote for either man. So I chose to mitigate the damage, which is something people in my position have already done for years. I'm not sure we'll survive 4 more years of either one of these men. No. I wouldn't call you "PedoRay" no matter how angry I get. I despise that shit. I do think you have a blind spot when it comes to people you like, but I hate that particular kind of name calling shit.
Okay, so ... 1) Absolutely nothing that @14thDoctor said in that post has anything to do with trusting (or not trusting) women, so that's kind of a non sequitur. 2) Does "trusting women" connect in any way to trusting their decisions about who to vote for? Because women, Black women in particular, helped power the South Carolina win that set Biden on the path to victory. (And, interestingly, there was only one candidate who had significantly less support among women than among men. I wonder who it was?) https://www.cnn.com/election/2020/entrance-and-exit-polls/south-carolina/democratic
So we trust women, but the fact that in state after state, women disproportionately favored Joe Biden and rejected Bernie Sanders is irrelevant? Have you looked at Bernie Sanders' gender gap? It's pretty impressive.
Bernie Sanders is no longer running. Joe Biden is the nominee. Clearly you believe you have the demographics you need to win, so go ahead and vote for him. That there are women who will vote for him does not change anything about Joe Biden. Remember, 45% of women voted for Donald Trump in 2016, compared to 48% of women for Clinton. You have a long battle ahead. Good luck.
Politico seems to think Kamala Harris' recent support of the protests and her speech condemning Rand Paul for blocking the anti-lynching bill may have done enough to outweigh her record as a prosecutor, which may make her a candidate for Biden's VP slot again. Thoughts?
At the moment, reforming the police might be easier if the advice to the POTUS is seen as coming from one, however. Harris might just have the right blend of appeal to PoC and the cops to be a uniter.
Especially if they are smart enough to recognize all this early and get behind the train before it has completely left the station. That usually leads to a white house job. See Ben Carson, one of the few original Trump hires to make it to year 3.
Would she be willing to play second fiddle knowing she's more on the ball than he is? You'd think it would drive her nuts!
