There is a good part that the internet is shining a bright light on these abuses which will hopefully reduce the widespread amount of them. Homosexuality is different in that is consensual and with a partner that is of age, but it seems that pedophelia occurs like homosexuality does. The people who are attracted to youth are born with it and some have a compulsion to act upon those powerful desires.

It goes into the area of severe addiction and mental need to molest for some. It cannot be allowed from a societal standpoint. Like destructive addicts have to segregate themselves from availability and temptation, so does the person suffering from pedophelia. We have to treat that as a medical condition that cannot be resolved by just giving those who suffer from it what they need to get by at times. If there is a way to satiate that compulsion without the action we should research it in honesty because this is in some people from birth and they cannot help it.

I also use compulsion because I understand some things need to be expressed or you hurt yourself mentally. That goes down to a trans thing. I had to express that part of myself. It was not good enough to just wear boys clothes and be a little bit like a girl. If I did not identify as a female I actually went crazy destructive. It is really hard for someone to understand who has never suffered from it. That compulsion is strong and twisting when you restrain it. It does not just go away. The person cannot escape the compulsion.

So even though I despise people who act upon their urges to molest I want to come to a realistic treatment of their condition being we cannot let them have at children to alleviate their urges.

Now Korean fathers will have to wait three more years to pimp out their daughters.
My question is when will those "out in the boondocks" Mormon towns in northern Arizona & Utah raise their age of consent from 13 to 16?

agree that pedos have some weird & twisted compulsion that obviously they can't control. AFAIK nearly every single pedo that is released from prison goes right back to pedo stuff nearly immediately. Granted I haven't researched the data, but whenever I read about a pedo getting arrested they have already done time for previous pedo crimes.

What's amazing is here in & around Augusta we have had some very intelligent, successful, pillar of the community types throw their whole lives away for pedo stuff, mostly kiddie porn but regardless - they must know that they will eventually get busted but still they persist. And the longer they do kiddie porn the more evidence exists to convict them, so they have no chance of getting off (no pun intended) scot-free.

I have kids & grandkids so maybe that affects my judgement, but if you are convicted for actual in the flesh pedo stuff you should be put down like rabid dog. There is no cure, there is no rehabilitation for these people. You are a proven danger to children, so it's nothing personal, but you leave the courtroom in a body bag.

As for kiddie porn? That is kind of tricky. Yes of course it's a crime, and enables fellow kiddie porn watchers who rape & exploit children in real life. So if all the prosecution has is watching & distributing kiddie porn I guess a very length prison sentence will do, but a second offense should be life behind bars.
