Word is Idris Elba got a test despite showing no symptoms, while frontline health workers can't. The Prime Minister of Canada didn't even get tested with no symptoms, despite being quarantined with his wife who already tested positive.

And that's why I don't care, and wouldn't care if every celebrity came down with it. A celebrity is no more important or worth more than any other person in my life. From what I read he took the test because he was near people who tested positive for it.

Which still isn't enough for a regular person with no symptoms to receive a test.

They asked me if my daughter had been on a cruise ship or to China in the last 30 days. Should have said yes...

The comments in that Yahoo article are pretty telling. Lots of idiotic Americans complaining that the celebrities "went to the front of the line" for testing.

Fact: Tom and his wife were in Australia at the time. Idris and his wife live in the UK.

Neither country has the testing issues that the USA has.

I saw screenshots of a Twitter of someone who was sick for days and had been sent home twice before driving himself to the hospital and collapsing in the parking lot. He's recovering but many will not be so lucky.
